Study on genetic variability parameters in soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merrill] genotypes

Thirty-two soybean genotypes were assessed to estimate genetic variability parameters in RBD design with three replications during 2021. The results of the Analysis Variance (ANOVA) revealed significant variation across for each trait studied which showed high experimental material. higher magnitude (>20%) GCV and PCV exhibited by seed yield per plant (33.71% 35.60%) followed biological (26.64% 28.47%), number pods (24.56% 25.13%) branches (20.24% 20.75%), respectively. High heritability coupled advance yield, pods, plant, harvest index, 100-seed weight height, indicating additive gene action provides chance selection-based development these traits. In this study, was reported AUKS 213 (12.44 g) 259 (11.14 g), 263 (10.82 262 (10.44 264 (9.99 as their mean values.
